My second visit to the Otley Road Races, it's a great event. This year it was just a few days before the Tour De France arriving, so the excitement levels were up. This year, both Dame Sarah Storey and Lizzie Armitstead were racing. Otely is Lizzie's home town so it was great that she took the win there!

A local bike club's time trail event, held in the Ripon area. I went to this with my local camera club, it was great practice for the Tour De France.

This now traditional race takes place annually through the streets of Otley, it's a brilliant evening and attracts top riders and plenty of spectators. The queue for the chippy was crazy!

The Alps are amazing, such a beautiful place, having booked a holiday with my biking gang here, I was obviously very excited about taking my camera too. In reality it actually pretty tricky to carry around a huge amount of camera kit, these are what i got from a few excursions. The rest of the holiday was pure riding and it was great!

This event took place at a local disused airfield. I went down with my local camera club. These guys were super fast, it was a great opportunity to practice panning shots. What made the evening was the vibrant colours of both the riders and the oil seed field that the track circles. Great fun.
